My name is Terry Ricks and I'm a Systems Engineer for an electronics company
in Spokane,
Washington called Itron. I work on a great design
team and together we help utilities
automate the collection of their meter reads. It is, after all, quite a left-brain
job,
so I enjoy every chance I can to return to my bohemian roots!
I've been married to my childhood sweetheart, and best friend, Mike, since
1984.
I have two boys, James (20) & Tyler (17). They keep me in stitches constantly!

On November 2, 2005, we celebrated our 21st anniversary. 21 wonderful years
of raising two awesome young men and being best friends... We now find that
we
have a lot of time to devote to each other, as the boys seem to have all their
own fun
stuff and friends...
I LOVE THIS MAN!

This is a photo of my Studio namesake, Tabby. She's a Red Fox Persian and not
nearly as snooty as
she appears. She has taken possession of the pouting chair on the front porch...somehow
appropriate!

These are my boys. Jimmy's senior picture from '03 and Tyler & I on his
first day of senior year :(
You can see the first set of Tyler's Sr. pics here...TylerSrPics.htm...
You can watch the little movie I made Jimmy for graduation here... Jimmy's

Homecoming '05...Tyler & Annie

The boys planned a scavenger hunt and the girls had to race around to find
them. They ended up at
the falls at Mirabeau Point where they aksed them to Homecomeing...so sweet!

CE and his bright red car...we can't wait to watch him play college ball next
year! He was just
granted a full-ride scholarship to play footbal for the Oregon Ducks!!! Wow
are we going to keep
the road hot going back and forth to as many games as we can...

With all the boys in my life, I try to keep my house as girlie as possible.
I have a wonderful porch
that my hubby and I spend many evening hours on...rocking...waiting for the
boys to come home
and entertain us with stories of their daily lives. Long warm summers in Spokane,
coupled with a
weekly dose of Miracle Grow Bloom Booster help keep the prettys pretty... I
bought a greenhouse
this past summer so next spring I can start all of my own planter flowers...can't
wait!

This is Mike on the beach. Funny how a farm boy from Montana took right to
that boogy board
and all those waves while his life-guard wife sun-bathed!! I did actually try
the waves, but remembering the
incident the term "beached" comes to mind!

I have two sisters that I totally love to pieces. They both have wonderful kids...and even some grand babies!
My tree-hugging twisted sister...the artist known has Holly Ricks Miller...

Ricks kids...

And just to prove that's me, the cute one in the front...look at this new
photo of Don (my
work buddy) & I. Notice the hands? HAH!

Feet fetish anyone?
Holly's friend, Jim Cottengim is also an incredible artist. Here are several
portraits that he's done...
simply spectacular!

Holly's youngest, our sweet little nursey Nissa...
Holly's son Nathan and oldest daughter Summer.
And of course Summer's girls...

Uncle Mike just had to help with that tough wrapping paper!!

So we could see Jussy's wonderful new babies!!

An old, but precious shot of Jimmy & Jordan back in 1998...
My lovey nurse sister. Waddie. When Holly's kids were toddlers they called
Kerry "Waddie" and
it just stuck! Waddie has the softest hands and gives the best back rubs ever.
If you are ever sick
in eastern Idaho she'll get you better! Someone shot this one of us together
at Holly's big 50th
birthday bash in May '05.

These are Waddies sweet kids at Colstrip Daze '04. From the left, Cassie, John,
and Heather. I'm the
short one in the back!

Of course we tragically lost our sweet twisted brother, Kog, but his legacy
lives on through his first
grandson...little Kieran was born on what would have been Kelly's 44th birthday,
October 5, 2004.
Kieran's mama and Kelly's youngest daughter, Jacque is a beautiful young woman
with all of the
potential in the world!
When you hold him, he feels like Kelly to me...and here he is with his sweet
mama on Halloween '05...
Twisted sisters usually begin with a twisted mom...we're no exception! Isn't
she cute?

These poor boys spend hours trying to get their hot rods to beat mine
AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN!

We live at Coeur d'Alene lake in the summer...and have the wrinkles to prove it!

I try to get in 50-60-miles a week on my bike and am beginning to panic with the weather heading south. My buddy, Jenny Myers & I rode the Hiawatha Trail this past weekend over in Montana. It was simply spectacular!

I use the term affectionately, of course...I love my outlaws!
We think that the best part of living in Spokane is the fun company we get
from Dillon! Uncle John and
aunt Susie keep the highway from Dillon hot during the summer...we try not to
ever miss a Hot Rod show!
Jonni Neal (Mike's niece) and sweet little Cassidy. I am, of course,
her favorite great-aunt, but she
admits she can't seem to ever remember my name!
Papa-John with his sweet little girls. From the left, Kylee, Kory, and Cassidy.
Ta-Da!

My fish tank has 2-Angels, 2-SHarks, 2-Frogs (they said wouldn't live
with the Angles), 2-Catfish, and a Pleco.
Jimmy's tank has 6-Red Belly Pihranas. When we got them they were the
size of a dime and now they are each about 5 inches long. Their diet consists
mostly of frozen blood worms and the yucky like, but on special occasions
they get little goldfish (but not if the goldfish even remotely resemble NEMO!!)
Fat Bastard...we don't know why he is like he is...he's just
a pig. He chases
my Persian around and is terribly mean. He loves the puppies though and
seems to be both a good mouser and an entertaining source of conversation,
so he's a keeper. He's the only other morning person in the house, so we are
a bit chummy in the mornings...
Out sweet Thumper lost her battle with illness on November 3, 2005. We
will forever love
and remember her sweet, quiet, and loving nature...she epitomized the term
"puppy-dog-eyes". We love you Thumpee and we're taking really good
care of Libby for
you and she's taking really good care of us!

The puppies aren't exactly puppies anymore...but they still love it when I
baby-talk to them..."poopoopeepeepuppies"...going on 6-years this
Christmas. They're yellow lab, female litter mates. The yellow one
is Thumper and the red one is Libby.
